I really enjoyed the posted video and the subject of living zero waste. I recently saw a writer for Buzzfeed explore this lifestyle and commit to doing it for a month. Over the course of the month she found it to be difficult, but very satisfying. I do not live a zero waste lifestyle, however, over the past few months, I have begun to reduce our waste. Great job on this post. I feel that you are really aware of the issues occurring in the environment. In addition, I find it concerning about the vanishing of the bees as this is part of sustaining a healthy ecosystem. The bees, as pollinators, are so important in our plant. It reminds me of the episode on Black Mirror on how bees became instinct so technology was created to do this work. I'm also glad to hear that you are composting and that you find it rewarding.
ReplyDeleteRyan, thanks for reiterating the importance that bees have on our lives. There are so many people who are unaware of how significant bees our to our health and environment. Great job on composting and doing so for years now. I try to compost as much as I can, however, I haven't started composting in my home yet because of fruit flies, the smell, etc. Do you have any tips for a person who is just starting to compost at home?
